About Us

Katie’s Story – If you would have told me a year ago I would be writing an ‘About Me’ section on a site all about paper and design, I may have laughed in your face! I also would have had a different last name and probably had three different bridal magazines in my bag and some wedding blog on my computer! This design and invitation obsession really came out after my wedding in January when I learned, and learned quite fast, that I couldn’t drop this whole wedding planning thing from my life. Looking back to the two things I spent the most time planning and thinking over I should have seen it coming. First there was the chair bow colors (who would think that little detail had me hung up for weeks!) and then, my wedding invitations! Since January I still stalk wedding blogs daily and save everything and anything that inspires an idea for wedding invitations, baby announcements, birthday parties or just some awesome color schemes. Given the above it is quite clear how Sign it With Love began and I am looking forward to what is to come.

Jenny’s Story- The day after getting engaged the first thing I did (after getting the ring re-sized cause there was no way I was going to work Monday without my ring!!) was go to Barnes and Noble to buy bridal magazines. I loved looking at all the fun designs and creativity that people had and needed some inspiration/help because wedding planning seemed daunting at first. I have never considered myself creative but I knew I wanted my wedding to reflect my personality. When the wedding invitations and all things paper related became my wedding focal point I knew that I discovered something that I really enjoyed working on, not to mention one of my best friend’s was far more creative than me and helped me a ton (major props Katie!). Throughout the wedding process I also discovered the world of blogging. I never thought I would jump on that bandwagon, and now it has become an outlet of mine. As a newlywed, it has given me the ability to stay connected to friends and family and learn about building a home and having fun! It can also be dangerous because I see so many fun inspirations I have told my husband I think we should have a wedding each year for me to try out things that I wish I did the first time around (I guess that just means that other brides get to benefit from that). I truly am looking forward to working with one of my best friends and hopefully we can be entertaining and inspiring to you all!
